What is it like to have a VISION BOARD and easy-peasy steps to create one for yourself !

Having a vision to achieve our goals seems like a logical thing to do, right? However, just having one doesn’t guarantee success. It’s extremely crucial to keep reminding ourselves of the path that we wish to walk through. And having a Vision Board in this case will make it evidently exist right in front of you, which will, of course, constantly remind you of what your goals and dreams are.

Creating a Vision board might seem daunting at first, but believe it or not, it can be made from scratch through a few simple, quick, and easy steps. So, let me take you through the steps of creating your very own Vision board:

Step 1: Envision your vision for the upcoming year

First things first. The initial and the most crucial step is to start brainstorming and jotting down the things that you would like to achieve in the upcoming year. It could be related to career, fitness, travel, personal goals, etc.

Remember, only if you have a proper, dedicated and a specific vision, will you be able to achieve it.

Step 2: Collect pictures that speak of your “Vision”

Next up, you have to start collecting pictures that speak about your vision. This could be things like pictures of the places that you would like to visit or an entrepreneur you look up to or a fitness freak whom you wish to look like.

You can find these pictures on Pinterest or even get amazing cut outs from a magazine.

Step 3: Write down your SMART goals list

In addition to collecting pictures and cut outs, you have to manually write down a list of SMART- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely Goals. Make sure all your goals satisfy these criteria which will in turn keep you motivated to achieve them.

Ex: Instead of - Read 20 books this year, a SMART goal would look like - Read 5 pages each day in the night.

Step 4: Get a base to cling on the pictures

Here comes the most interesting part. You have two options here. The pictures can either be stuck on a mesh board which makes it easier to pin images as and when you desire or you can use a notebook to paste the pictures. I would personally prefer a mesh board as it would be visible all the time, whereas a book is closed and you might have to open it from time to time to get reminded of your goals and dreams.

One additional option is to stick up the pictures on the notebook cover which can turn into your manifestation journal. This is a great opportunity to have a look at your vision everyday in addition to noting down things related to your goals.

And Voila! Your very own vision board is ready!

The sky's the limit for the amount of creativity that you can put into to make the Vision board look attractive and inspiring.

It’s definitely not rocket science and also is a very powerful method of achieving the things we wish to, provided we work tirelessly towards them and make it an absolute reality.

That’s all folks. Hope you found this helpful!

Wishing you lots of love,

Leena :)
